“Kanika created a safe and nonjudgemental space for me in my Focalizing session, in which I was able to witness, welcome and integrate parts of myself that I did not have access to previously. What a gift to invest an hour of time and leave knowing -- and feeling -- more of myself. Kanika is a skillful facilitator and guide of this unique mind-body healing modality and I wholeheartedly recommend working with her.”
- Tanya Corrin, Women’s Embodiment Practitioner
Working with Kanika has been immensely supportive, resourcing, and clarifying. Our sessions together have combined Focalizing, other body-based/somatic practices, and psychotherapeutic/educational tools in ways that acknowledge, make room for, and honor emotional, embodied, spiritual, intergenerational, and societal dimensions of my experiences. Her approach feels open and steady, attentive and responsive. I've really appreciated and learned a lot from her ability to center my intentions and wisdom about my own needs and experience, while also offering insightful observations, reflections, questions, and redirections where it has felt necessary. She has also offered resonant and useful resources that I can pull from and work with on my own. As someone who came into this process feeling that it was time, but also feeling really scared (still often do), I've come to a point where I feel trust in her, in myself, and in our therapeutic relationship to go where I haven't been able to go before.

“Kanika took me on a journey to find inner peace through sensory work. Her calm, insightful, and caring presence pairs along nicely with her listening ear. I look forward to using focalizing as a tool for continuous growth.”
